The National Union of Community Forestry Development Committees (NUCFDCs) is a community-based organization committed to strengthening the voices and rights of forest-dependent communities across Liberia.
Established in 2009, the Union brings together 23 Community Forestry Development Committee groups across 11 of Liberia's 15 counties, representing approximately 500 affected communities and villages.
Through advocacy, capacity building, partnerships and sustainable forest governance, we help communities participate meaningfully in decisions affecting their forests, land, resources and livelihoods.
